We are looking for individuals who are customer-service savvy, quick learners, and interested in the art of boba! We have two positions available; Barista and Back of the House. These two positions require hard-working individuals who also want to go beyond what is expected to make the customer happy.

Barista
Requirements : 

• Interest in working in the food service/hospitality industry or experience in food service, customer service, and drink making.
• Open to feedback.
• A positive attitude and can work well with others. 
• Be punctual, responsible, and reliable.
• Must be available during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. (Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas) 
• Possession of Food handlers Certificate or willingness to redeem one within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to situations.

Responsibilities :

• Knowledge of the Bounce Boba Lounge policies and performing every task up to quality standards. 
• Greeting customers with a smile and personalized service while going beyond what is required to make the customer happy.
• Responsible for making iced, iced blended, and hot beverages along with preparing fried foods and sandwiches.
• Retaining drink and food recipes while executing other cleaning/customer service tasks to the fullest.
• Maintaining cleanliness inside the bar and outside along with performing opening and closing tasks for the store effectively.
• Understanding and executing sanitation policies when handling food and drink services.
• Able to create friendly relationships with the crew and hold Bounce Boba Lounge policies to the highest while working.

• This job requires an ample amount of standing, walking, use of fingers; use of tools, feeling objects, feel, taste; talk, or hearing. The employee will occasionally be crouching, crawling, and kneeling.
• The employee will be required at times to lift/move 50lbs or more.
• Some specifics of this job require color vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus.
• The employee will be exposed to dairy products, vegetable products, poultry products, and frequent washing of hands.

BARISTA APPLICATION

 ​Back - Of - House 
    Requirements :

• Interest in working in the foodservice/hospitality industry or culinary school or previous culinary experience.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and hands-on environment.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Ability to work with chemicals, open flames, cooking odors, refrigeration, wet floors, and noise. 
• Effective use of downtime and can manage their own shift without supervision.
• Effective communication to team members. 
• Being a quick learner and attention to detail
• Must be available during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. (Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)
• Be punctual, reliable, and responsible. 
• Open to feedback.
• Possession of Food handlers Certificate or redeem within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities : 

• Preparation of tea and boba for daily operations and is able to portion various foods.
• Maintaining a clean kitchen space and enforcing the proper sanitation policies. Cleaning mop sink, hand/prep sinks, and mopping floors (etc.) 
• Prepping assigned ingredients, labeling prepped ingredients, ensuring freshness, and picking the best ingredients. Proper knife skills or knowledge of using a knife is required.
• Retaining recipes, measurements, procedures for daily operations. 
• Pulling equipment and holding/lifting 50lbs, and can bend, twist, and stand for an extended period of time.
• Staying aware of surroundings while working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to create friendly relationships with team members and have a positive, team-oriented attitude. 
• Effective use of downtime.
• Follows Bounce Boba Lounge procedures while working shift (ie: clocking in/out, breaks, etc.)  

Physical Requirements : 

• The physical demands that are described here are required of every staff member while working at Bounce Boba Lounge. Reasonable accommodations will be made for those with disabilities to perform daily functions.
• This position requires ample time standing, crouching, lifting, pulling/pushing, use of hands and fingers; feeling, using objects, tools, or controls in repetitive motions.
• Required to frequently walk, sit, and is always stationary.
• The employee will be exposed to high flames, knives, chemicals, smoke, steam, poultry products, vegetable products, and frequent washing of hands.
